Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember information about your visit — like whether you're logged in, or how you arrived at the site.

We also use sessionStorage, which is similar to cookies but is cleared automatically when you close your browser tab. We use this for temporary state (like a chat session) that doesn't need to persist.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.

2.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable features that improve your experience. They are set only when you take a specific action.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

We use privacy-respecting, self-hosted analytics to understand how visitors use our site — page views, traffic sources, and general usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected or shared with advertising networks.

3. What We Don't Use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies
  • No cross-site tracking
  • No third-party analytics that sell your data
  • No fingerprinting or device identification
  • No Google Analytics or Meta Pixel

4. Stripe

When you proceed to checkout, Stripe's JavaScript is loaded to display the payment form. Stripe may set cookies on your device for fraud prevention and to remember payment methods. These are controlled by Stripe's cookie policy.

5. The Shopwalk Plugin on Partner Stores

The Shopwalk WooCommerce plugin does not set cookies on your customers' devices. The UCP endpoints use sessionStorage for temporary state that is automatically cleared when the browser tab is closed.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, Search, and Services → Cookies

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to your account.

We honor the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal — if DNT is enabled, we do not collect analytics data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We will notify registered partners by email of material changes.
